Collection: Kylie Sirett

Kylie Sirett draws inspiration for her still life works from the everyday items that surround her, whether it's fresh produce from local farm gates, household objects, or treasures from her vintage kitchen collection. By highlighting the beauty in the ordinary, she encourages others to appreciate the simple joys found in daily life. Her current still life series explores the interplay of light on various surfaces and textures.

Kylie began her artistic journey at Footscray TAFE, where she focused on drawing and oil painting before opting for a Graphic Arts Apprenticeship. This decision set her brushes aside for nearly 15 years. However, in 2008, her passion for drawing and painting was reignited, and she has been creating vibrant works ever since.

Her experience in the graphic arts industry has equipped her with a strong foundation in color, composition, and traditional printing techniques, which she seamlessly blends into her painting practice. Kylie now works from her studio in Hurstbridge, Victoria, where she continues to explore and celebrate the beauty of everyday life.
