Collection: Rachael Little

For Rachael Little, it’s all about colour and flower therapy! She has a deep connection to her garden, frequently inspired by the vibrant blooms and lush foliage just outside her floor-to-ceiling windows.

Rachael studied visual arts over thirty years ago and spent many years working and teaching in ceramics studios. Her passion for flowers led her to a decade in floral design, but she happily returned to painting four years ago.

Specializing in floral abstracts, Rachael loves to build layers of illuminated acrylic colours. Her vessels are gently textured, with shades peeking through, while her quirky flowers add playful splashes of fun and colour. Each piece invites viewers to interpret the blooms, leaving them guessing about their identities.

Working intuitively, Rachael employs loose brush strokes, scratchings, and an emotional connection to her colour palette, resulting in dynamic compositions that celebrate the joy of nature.
