About the Artwork:

I loved the way the two trees on the bend in the road were backlit by the morning light. The ground was quite damp and there were lovely light reflections on the moisture. It's hard to tell from my painting but the road bends off to the right and the left from where I was standing so that is why the tracks in the road go down as well as around.
