About the Artwork:

I had always wanted to paint pinecones and spread some I'd gathered on a walk out on a linen tea towel in the sun to think about how I might paint them - and there was a composition that I was really happy with. They were not easy to paint though. It was a challenge and I am really happy with how they turned out.
