From my home studio in Montrose, Victoria I am semi taught and continue to explore and experiment with acrylics on canvas. My love of flowers, tablescapes with soft neutral tones, dominantly adorn my pieces but sometimes I like to explore other subject matters for when I am up for a challenge. Layers upon layers of acrylic paint adds that depth to each piece which makes the subject pop from the canvas which I adore. Inspiration comes in many forms but mostly from still life's, magazines, cuttings from the garden or even a pattern from a tablecloth – I add bits from subject matters and draw them all together in one painting.
